    Watch for this one...

NARC, starring Ray Liotta and Jason Patrick. This was a little film shown at Sundance and then caught the attention of Hollywood types like Tom Cruise, who became Executive Producer when Liotta's production company ran out of money. It is in limited release ( I believe so it can qualify for Academy Awards) but will be re-released country-wide in January.

It will have a lot of competition with all the Christmas Blockbusters out there, but I am sure it will find its audience.

That's good , John. I really hope this picture finds an audience. From what I have seen of it so far, it really looks like Oscar stuff.

NARC, written and directed by Joe Carnahan, starring Ray Liotta and Jason Patric.

This film ain't pretty to watch. It deals with a side of life most of us are spared. And the director doesn't pull any punches in showing us just what makes narcotic detectives tick.

SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE probably not for the younger audience
          by George Bellefontaine
In Something's Gotta Give, Jack Nicholson is playing his own age again, and that is a good thing. But the the difficulties of aging theme might not be for the younger folks, who also didn't like Something About Schmidt.

In Something's Gotta Give, Jack is a 63 year old bachelor still trying...

          Hi

I have heard that this is the best forum to talk Rotel.

I am thinking of buying an used Rotel RB991 to add to my HT setup. I will use the pre-out of my Denon AVR 3805 to connect to the power amp to drive my Dynaudio Audience 82 speakers.

          I have heard comments...

          by Boombox
I am definitely upgrading my speakers this year.

Does anyone have the Dynaudio Audience 72 hooked up to a RB1070. This speaker upgrade will cost me R10 000 (US$1800). What is the going price for these speakers in the US? Here its R16600 (US$2800).
