Yvonne Craig , the original television Batgirl , passed away today. She was also one of my favorite Star Trek characters , a psychotic Orion slave girl. Wearing black vinyl or green skin she provided me with a few memorable moments growing up. More of my childhood swept away by the march of time. http://www.inquisitr.com/2349109/ori...es-away-at-78/

Very nice.
Batgirl didn't make as much as Robin? Well... not only was she a lesser sidekick, she may not have taken care of as many of Batman's ummm... particular.... "preferences"....

Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.

I think she was definitely the better actor of the two (her and Robin). And I would rather see her in the skin tight Batsuit than the little guy in tights. Really unattractive tights , at that. Although , the green nutcase in Star Trek is my favorite character of hers.Lee

A...-

Although Ridley Scott is rarely favored by the critics, he is one of my favorite filmmakers. Few directors today can bring a story and character(s) to life as well as he does, even though the studios often try to murder his work. In the case of ROBIN HOOD, he takes a totally different approach than...-

Here it is, the fourth - and possibly the last - of the movies featuring the cast from Star Trek: The Next Generation. Yes, I said the last - one of the bylines touting this film is "A Generation's Final Journey...-

by OvationHowever one feels about the Trek revival on film (I've watched Trek since the fall of 1973, as a 6 year old, seen every episode and movie of every version of Trek--I'm a big fan of the new movies), any Star Trek fan (or fan of movies) has to be saddened at the news of Anton Yelchin's tragic death yesterday,...-
