A true master of television entertainment. IMDB lists his accomplishments. I can't type fast enough to list them all.

Sad. While I suspect most people will remember him for "21 Jump Street", I didn't get TV reception at that time of my life, and I will remember him most for "Greatest American Hero".
... Beeeeelieve it or not, Iiiiiii'm walkin' on air, I never thought I could feel so freee heee heeeee...

At the risk (certainty!) of showing my age , it was The Rockford Files for me. I still love that show , especially the answering machine messages before the opening credits. I even have the theme song on CD somewhere.

Lately, I've been enjoying his cameos on Castle playing himself in the weekly poker game.
Rest in peace Mr. Cannell..

He did more great TV than just about anyone, Bravo for a awesome career, he WILL be missed. I think I first really became aware of him as a writer and producer for Silk Stalkings. I watched it a lot. the chick was hot, haha. That was back in the glory days for CW network. Later I think it became the WB. But they dropped a bunch of stuff in the merger.
I like Castle too David.Doug

Yeah Lex, it's gotten to be a favorite around our house. Jenice thinks that Beckett is pregnant (in real life)..

She's a beautiful woman, for sure. I love auburn colored hair on women anyway, just makes her that much hotter. So, that will present some interesting series challenges if so.Doug

by AlaricI had to ask-Am I the only one who likes Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'"? That song used to make me all tingly in my happy place until I saw a recent picture of her. It looks like her plastic surgeon tied one on and showed up for work with a with a can opener and a bad attitude....-
