    Fly Boys

    It was raining today...good time to take the kids to the movies.
    We chose Fly Boys...I did not expect much,but got a little more.The story is about a LafayetteEscadrille...a bunch of mostly Americans,joining up to help France during WW1...
    James Franco is the lead...and does a pretty good job,Jennifer Decker is his love interest.
    Most of the time I judge a movie by how hard my seat got....only once did I squirm during this.
    The action/flying scenes are the real stars of movies like this...and they were done quite well.The special effects were never cheesy...and the soundtrack had plenty of boom.
    All in all,a decent rainy day movie...

      Yeah I watched a couple of trailers on this and it really looked good. James Franco is getting a lot of work lately. I predict his acting will get better and better with time.

              I would give it 3 plus stars out of 5.It was not Saving Private Ryan...but I liked it.
              And it addressed social issues such as class and race...but it was more fluff than substance.
              Air battles,which were done well...romance,a good little film.
              I may even buy it...
