FLYBOYS... the beginning of air warfare.

Stars Jean Reno and that fella from Annapolis, James Franco. Looks like my kind of film, too.

Cool... I can't open the trailer on my computer right now, but I'll give it a look. Unfortunately, Hollywood is rather hit-and-miss when it comes to flying movies, so we'll see if this one's really good or really crap.

Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.

The trailer makes the movie look at least interesting, maybe even exciting if they can keep up the pace of the action. But the CGI is pretty obvious in the aerial combat scenes. I hope it doesn't look hokey on the big screen. Wnen watching the movie, it may end up being life-like enough to be thrilling, or it may look more like a cartoon.

I know it could end up either way, because, for example, when I first saw the TV commercials (trailers) for Jurassic Park, the dinosaurs looked really fakey, but in the context of the movie in a commercial theater, they were pretty convincing. On the other hand, there was nothing realistic about the CGI creatures in "Lost in Space" (the movie).

Yeah that struck me as being a little too obvious in the cgi dept. as well. Not sure how it's going to look on a 30 or 50 foot screen but I can live with it on my 8 footer.

In time for Halloween -- Scary Movie 3
          by Burke Strickland
Scary Movie 3 (SM3) is solidly in the bad-taste-is funny, sight-gags-galore spoof-a-rama tradition of Airplane! (the same director did both). Unlike Scary Movie 2, which was a tired re-hash of the "original" Scary Movie, (which I enjoyed), SM3 treads new ground, parodying not just horror flicks...

          Movie Trailer = Spoiler ?
          by FakerBaker
I have had countless great movies spoiled over the years because a plot twist was revealed in the trailer ; Example: "Scent of a Woman".. Al Pacino's critical 'Hoo-Rah' (If you've seen the movie then I'll assume you know what I mean). As a result I now refuse to watch trailers, which can be...

          ANNAPOLIS has its moments
          by George Bellefontaine
The film stars James Franco ( he played, and even looks like, James Dean ) and Tyrese Gibson. Franco is a young kid from a bluecollar family. He works at the local shipyard but his dead mom always wanted him to go to Annapolis, so he tries and gets his chance to attend. As a "plebe" things...

          Incredible
          by Brandon B
OK, I've been waiting for someone else to start a thread, but evidently it's gotten too cold up in the great white north and Texas and wherever the rest of you live to venture out to a theater to see this movie.

I seriously, seriously love this film. I have enjoyed all of Pixar's efforts,...
