I had never heard of this movie until I was watching "Ebert and Roeper". Both Roger and Richard really had some great things to say about the movie, and have repeatedly picked it as their pick for one movie to watch in the theaters if you could.
Just watched it here in the desert... I'd have to agree with everything that they've said about the movie. It's not an Oscar-winner or anything, but it's fun to watch. As E&R said, satire is very hard to do well, and this movie does it just right. It's really fun to watch, and a good passing of 2 hours. Nothing in the movie is really done in seriousness, it really is just satire, so I think even those who have been affected in their lives through the tragedy of lung cancer or other effects of smoking, would still enjoy the movie.
