Is there any one how nows what is wrong with my rsx 1055 When i put a cd in my player the rsx is not responding on it in stereo (no sound) but in surround it works oke .

When you say stereo do you mean 2 channel only? Do you have audio cables hooked up to the inputs on the reciever or just a digital (coaxial or optical) cable? Do you have the correct input selected in the menu and the correct input type (example: coax 1, optical 1, analog) selected? You must have cables that correspond with what you have selected. If you can't get it post back (or e-mail me) with how you are connected and what does not work for I too have the 1055, Bob
