    Question about remote that comes with RSP-1068

    Hi everyone,

    Is there a way on the remote that comes with the RSP-1068 pre-amp/processor to get the display to say "Video 1" when you press "Vid 1"? Right now, the default is "DVD" for Rotel DVD players. However, I'd like to change it to say "Video 1."

    On the same note, is there a way to get each "Vid *" button on the remote to display, for example, "Cable" or whatever I want it to display on the small LCD screen?

      You know there's a second manual just for the remote right?

      You can adjust the labels for just about everything, function keys too..

          Refer to the Remote Manual in the Section titled "Custom Labelling". It explains very clearly how to change the labels associated with a Device/Input or Command button.

              I have a RXS-1056 with it's oem RR-1050 remote. I have programmed my inputs and the 1056's LED displays my selections: DVD, DIRECTV, SAT, IPOD, PHONO.
