No problem with my Rotel 1056 and HD-Tivo. Hope you get your issue resolved.

Do you have the latest software?

Try a different cable to start with and go from there

My 1066 makes little pops/hiccups when switching between stereo/DD5.1/DTS/etc. It's my understanding that this is a "feature" of the 1066 and has been improved in the 1068. How serious is the sound? Mine are just annoying. This is with my HD receiver or my DVD player, not an HDTIVO (I bought one, and the HDMI port was toast out of the box so I got a refund).

The last firmware update definitely got rid of the major pops that I used to get. If you don't have the latest firmware, then I definitely recommend upgrading to it and you'll notice a big difference. The sounds are just minor now.

              Thanks Club Rotel,

Rotel updated firmware(free) and also installed something for HD at 100$. No more loud pop. Problem fixed.

Also thanks to the guys at Rabsons audio in paramus nj, who helped to send back my 1066 even though i didnt purchase it there.
