Will the RSB-1066 do 5.1 Dolby digital or just 7.1?

The extra speakers for 7.1 are not required. In the setup for the "center back" speakers you have a choice of "1 speaker" (i.e. 6.1.), "2 speakers (i.e. 7.1) or "none" which gives you 5.1. In fact, you can also set the front center channel speaker to "none", the surround speakers to "none" and the sub to "no," if you only had enough speakers to configure a 2.0 setup.
