Changing default speaker levels on 1098?

    Hi,

Whenever I turn on my 1098 the rear L and rear R is +2. All of the other speakers are 0. I tried many diffent ways in the user default setting to change them but to no avail. It is an inconvienience to have to manually balance the levels each time I power on the system. There must be a way to change this. What am I missing?

Do you own an SPL meter? If not I'd recomend getting the analog model from Radio Shack and use that to get the proper volumes for each speaker and set that in the test tone area. Once you're happy there goto the user defualt area and save this as your default setting...note don't restore from the user default until you've saved these settings. That should fix the issue you are having.
