    Rotel 981 with Rotel RA 02

    Hi all,

    Bit of newbie poster to the forums but hoping you can help.

    What are people's thoughts on pairing a Rotel 981 power amp (which I'm hoping to purchase) with my old Rotel RA02. Would this be good direction to go to upgrade my setup. I'm already looking at recapping my amp anyway.

    At the moment I have a pair of System Audio floorstanding speakers and a project Xpression II TT and Rotel CD player.

      I just got a RA02 last week, I have to say that it is great and sounds really good compare to what I have before (yamaha RXV-1300). I paired up the RA02 with NHT SB2 and a Denon 1710. And all I have is a RCA interconnect connecting my int-amp with my dvd.
