    multiple sub crossover settings

this may be a really n00b question, but here goes:
can any of the rotels (rsx-1055 in particular) have different crossover settings for different speakers?

i.e.: my front left and rights are rated down to ~38hz, so it would be nice to have the sub kick in at ~40hz for material intended for the mains. but my center and surrounds really ought to have the sub kick in at ~80hz.

i've only ever had 2-channel systems before so maybe i'm just unclear on the concept, but this seems like a perfectly reasonable setup.... is there some principled reason not to do this? (or maybe you can on the 1055 and i just didn't figure it out in the one night i had it). or is merely a technical difficulty?

    Xover settings are global.

Hope the new 1098 addresses this.
    Regards,
    Matt

"addresses this" in the sense that a) i'm not the only one who wants this and b) it's rational to want this? =)

      thanks
