Hiya, I am picking up a 1068 on Friday and was wondering if anyone had a 1075 or 1080 they wanted to sell on.

EDIT: Actually I would also be interested in a 985 MK II, or a 991, 993.

I live in the UK, so if anyone in the UK is interested in funding an upgrade to a 1090/95 and wants their current amp to go to a good home then please reply or drop me a message.

They do Rotel factory seconds with full warranty, and at the same sort of price you would pay second hand.

Yeah.

I was rather disappointed about their prices. £650 each black only. For factory seconds, even in mint condition I was expecting cheaper than that.
I'd rather pay £80 more and get a brand new one which I can for £730 ish.

But I would love one for around £535 or £499 in black, giggle yeah i'm a silver slut

Thanks for that no I had not. I think the postage charges to the UK will be rather high but there is a 1080 that says will post worldwide. So i've asked him for the approx. cost of shipping.

Also remember that if its in north america our voltage is different then yours so you'll need either a transformer or have it modified to suit your power.

I forgot completely about that !!

I've managed to get hold of a 985 MK II which will keep me going with what I ahve for a while.

So i'll hunt around the uk until I find a cheap 1080 or whatever for the fronts. Or at worst a 1075 and bi-amp the fronts and use the other channnel for the centre.
