Best place to sell Quadraphonic reel to reel tapes?

So I was upgrading an old automation system I did, and told the customer I could sell the old stuff on Ebay.

He then proceeded to drag all electronics out of the attic for me to sell on Ebay as well. The best was a Pioneer quad receiver, a Teac quad reel to reel player, and maybe 100 commercial quad reel to reel tapes.

From checking Ebay, I know some of the tapes are worth some money (Elvis: Live from Hawaii), but I was checking if anyone knew of a good place to get values. Or maybe a good place to sell them at a fair market price. Listing them all on Ebay is not high on my list.

    Thanks,

    Kevin D.

    Look here: http://www.quadraphonicquad.com/

There's a 'marketplace' section there – but if nothing else, it's at least a very good site for quad information.

I don't know about where to get the values, but you could try selling on audiogon.com.

Yikes, if those tapes were in the attic for the past 20-30 years, they’re probably ruined. I wouldn’t put much stock in any gear stored up there either.

yeah, the attic is certainly not the place to store ANY media unless they were 8 tracks, in which case it would be a deserving death, ROFLMAO.
