RSP 1068 software upgrade

Hi guys,

I am attempting to perform the software upgrade. I have done the following (as per the Rotel instructions):
- turn OFF RSP1068
- set dip switches to ON
- connect cable between laptop and RSP1068
- setup a HyperTerminal RSP1068 connection
- made required changes to RSP1068 connection
- turned on RSP1068
- connection established
- entered '1' to erase memory (it didn't echo 'erase memory' processing)
- selected transfer, 'send text file' and pointed to BIN file
- all that's being echoed to the screen are ASCII characters and line feeds

It's been 45 minutes and it's still doing something (i.e. echoing characters).

Any ideas?

I was finally able to do the update. I made 2 changes, so I'm not exactly sure what the root cause of problem was. The changes were:

- install a new version of HyperTermine Private Edition (http://www.hilgraeve.com/htpe/download.html).
- I mistakenly had set the 'flow control' to 'hardware' instead of 'none'.

I know some folks have noticed it takes quite a while on Windows versions after 98. I do believe some have had some success adjusting hyperterminal settings as well to speed up the process.
