Would the RSP1068 also make a good 2 channel preamp?

I am a 50% music and 50% movie person with my system and in need of a prepro. For 2 channel music, how is the RSP1068? Not really into buying two preamps.

How does the RSP1068 compare with the RSP1056 for 2 Channel music?

If you're looking for a preamp that does 2ch and HT for $1700 or less, I don't think the 1068 can be beat.

Will be similar to 1056 for 2 channel, although matched with a good amp and interconnects, will outperform it.
Will be slightly better than 1066.

If you have the 1095, then go for the 1068 .

I demo'ed one and if I could have purchased it for $1500 usd I would now own it instead of the RSX-1055/RC-1070 (2 pre) combo. I found it to deal with 2 channel quite well :T
