I don't own a Rotel (yet), but I believe I saw a post recently that said you need to hold down the mute button for a few seconds. Worth a try.Mark G. -

Press and hold the MUTE button on the front panel for 5 secons and you will see it on the screen as a version number followed by a software build date.

I talked with Paul at Parasound today, and got some good info on the update issue. Apparently yes, the current version available is 6.42.
