    software version?

:? OK I give up..when I press the mute button to see what software version and if it is the latest I see this on the LCD..2,2,2, 020905. Can anyone tell this new rotel owner exactly what that means?

New life for my speakers with the 1066..incredible improvement over my H/K. Just had to mention.

    Greg

Well, the comma is equivalent to the US (dot) character.....SO you have v2.2.2 of the Firmware. As for the 020905, it's the date the firmware was released. I always get this mixed up, it's either September 5, 2002 or May 9, 2002. It drives me crazy when people swap the month and day values in a date...

tony, APPRECIATED. Now if only I can get a hold of the RR 1050. The placement of the video input buttons on the 969 is driving me crazy.

Is Live Update working properly in your MX Editor software?
            by Chris D
Over the last year or so, I've noticed discrepancies in Parasound's MX Editor software program to customize the MX-700 and Sidekick remotes included with the Halo C1 and C2 processors.

It seems to depend on the version of Parasound MXEditor that you're running, and localized just to the...

            Be careful, software scams
            by Lex
I got a spam offering all these great deals on Windows XP, Adobe Photoshop, etc... I thought, well, I'll do a little investigative reporting.

I didn't click on anything. I did do a mouse over the link, found the domain and went there. Great deals! No business address or phone number!...

Finding discrepancies with the Halo Control Software?
            by Chris D
I'm seeing some discrepancies with the Halo Control software--I've talked it over with Parasound's tech support, and they're looking into it to see if there's problems or omissions. In the meantime, I think it would be useful for everyone to post if they've noticed similar things so we can nail down...

Problems with MXEditor Live Update after DPLIIx software update
            by Chris D
Weird. I downloaded the DPLIIx update to two different computers I own, including the new MXEditor software version. Got through the update okay, following the instructions for both Halo Control and MXEditor. So far so good. I ran the MXEditor program Live Update, which downloaded a rather large...
