Problems with my rotel RSP1068

Hi

I have just recieved my rotel RSP1068 from a dealer here in Denmark.

I cant acces the main menu in the processor. :roll:

I press the Menu/osd button on the remote and get the system status screen.

Then I press the enter button (ENT) on the remote and get EQ on and off no main menu.!

What am I doing wrong ?

It seems like I cant acces the main menu at all.

Do any of you have tried anything like this :wink: ?

I'd take it back to your dealer and try it out there to find out if you got a bad remote or a bad 1068...very weird though for sure

I would suggest restoring remote to factory defaults. If it is then possible at all to get to the 1068 main setup menu try a factory restore to defaults.

Wierd problem though but sounds like the remote ... do you have a plasma screen?? IR flooding from the screen could corrupt the signal sent but normally it just blocks it.

No I do not have a plasma screen, but a Philips 32" widescreen television.

Have you tried to call Kaj Danielsen? He could be helpfull in both ensuring that the unit is defective or not - or with the repair/exchange of it..

It was a bad remote.

Now everything is working fine. :T
