    Replacement for RSP-1098/RSP-1068

does any one have any knowledge of when these units will be replaced? I hate to buy one and 2 days later the "new improved" model comes out.... any insight would be great before I pull the trigger.... :T

I'd say you have at least a 6 months-year minimum (and that's a doomsday worst case prediction) for the 1098, at least 1.5 - 2 years for the 1068 (it just came out at the beginning of this year). Though that's just a guess....never know, I could be wrong

      Preamp choices: RSP1068 or RSX1056 or AVR3805?
      by csuzor
Is the better choice the RSP1068 or RSX1056 for pre-amp duty?

I will add the RMB1066 (in bi-amp mode) or the RMB1075.
I am upgrading from a denon1804 to drive B&W700series in 5channels only (no sub yet)

Being budget limited, choosing the RSX1056 allows me to...

      RSP1098, PS3 and Full HD 3D Playback
      by sarsi
I like to share some of recent experience with my new 3D TV setup with my current Rotel RSP1098/RMB1095 setup. I am hoping this information is useful for anyone with the same configuration out there that are interested to take the 3D plunge.

I had not been very active in the last couple...

Having some wierd problem with the RMB1095 and rsp1068.
      by Dmantis
Over the last few months I have noticed a problem that I thought would go away with time. My system was new a few months back and I thought after alot of break in it would smooth out.

The problem is this hiss on the highs. Maybe a crackle maybe a hiss after someone finishes singing....

how great the difference 2ch Rsx972 to Rsp1068 as pre-amp
      by bung99
Considering a 1068 instead of using my 972 as a per-amp. I have the RCD1072 (cd player) pluged in analog & the RMB 1095 as the power amp to my NS1000M Yamaha speakers for 2 ch with my sub set to cut in at the lowest setting on the sub. I do have a 5.1 setup but mostly play CDs & get into a...

      Rotel RSP1068 and RMB-1077
      by Dingaling2004
      Hi guys,

Just a quick question. I am running the above gear at the moment and have it hooked up to 5 x 8 inch in-wall speakers. They sound OK, but I have purchased some new in walls for the new house (and a dedicated home theater). I don't know the efficiency of the speakers I have now,...
