Guess you are using SuperSpikes from Soundcare. Did you notice any improvements?

              Great looking setup guys!!!

Makes me want to go out and get my new B&Ws...if only money grew on trees. Oh well at least I can see people's beautiful speakers and Rotel gear until then!

JohnAng, any reason you put the 1075 above the 1080? Just noticed that... and thought to myself, that's the first time I've seen the "bigger" amp on top of the smaller one. Looks good!

Hey Mucke and JohnAng, excited to see folks with same B&W 700 series with Rotel gear setup. Nice setup . I used superspikes as well and did not find any different from spikes but one thing for sure it save my floor from having more scratches and cuts (left by the previous spikes and footers). I think those stuff are very practical replacement of spikes.

hahaha, the only reason i did hat for was because it wouldn't fit in the bottom shelf, well it would but it would have been just abot hitting the bottom of he second shelf.

after going a bit psychotic this summer with upgrades, have ended up as follows:
rdd980, rsp1066, cambridge azur 640 dab, twin bridged 1070s and an rb993 to round it off :B

A silverstone lc16m cased htpc on top with a 12" touchscreen (and more than a bit of clutter) with a pair of BK xls200 subs along side standing guard

The base work gets done next week thankfully

                        My setup

Here's my gear... (not as fancy as some of yours, but it works for me):

                        Rotel RMB-1075 amp
                        Rotel RB 1050 amp
                        RSP-1068 pre/pro
                        Onkyo DV-CP802 "universal player" (CD/DVD/SACD/DVD-A)
Dish PVR HD receiver/tuner w/ harddrive (Model 921)
                        Mitsubishi 55" widescreen

By the way, the front left and right speakers shown in the cabinet are based on the great MTMs designed and posted by JonMarsh in the DIY speakerbuilding forum. These are incredible sounding speakers using the Dayton reference transducers and as much audiocap theta capacitors as one can afford. I highly recommended them to anyone looking for great sound from smallish speakers. :T

I don't know if you have a good photo editing package, but if next time you make the pics size of 640x480 and a resolution of 72dpi, you should be able to keep the pictures looking really good and keep them right under the 100K...

Very Nice Metallo!!! I really like the clean look and how you put your select favorite (I'm assuming) DVDs out on display like that. Very nice!!!

I'm wanting to get a Denon DVD-2910 or 3910...just haven't decided if that's the player for me or not.

So when are we all getting invited over to watch a movie? ha ha J/K.

Thank you for your comments, i have put Star Wars 1/2/3/4/5/6 and X-men 1/1,5/2 on the screen, and LOD extended on the bench. They are not my favourite movies but they have a nice cover

I can recommend 2910 very much, no problem with reading discs, fast in the menues, not much noise, fantastic picture and decent audio (2 ch), thats why i use the RSP-1068 to do the decoding, both for multi and stereo, with a better result.

Maybe i will invite you for a movie and some swedish meatballs

                                                  Thanks,

It is a "basic" Euroscreen, about 350 euros. Nothing fancy... Audio is the primary thing for me.

Tony, have you thought about getting the 1098's front panel swapped to a black front?

                                                          Fish,

How do I go about doing that? In AUS we cant get the black finish 1098's cause thats what I was after when I was out buying 1. Is there a mod out there that allows you to swap the front panal? I should ring up my rotel dealer.

It seems to me that the rear seats are pretty much pointless in the current configuration because they are sitting outside the surround field.

                                                                  Just an observation.

The rear surrounds are also floorstanding, but I have lifted them from the floor onto metal pedestals which a friend of mine made. I am looking at options to upgrade my front speakers. I am quite keen on the Boston VR range, seeing that my front center is a Boston, but I am also thinking of getting a RB-1080 for the fronts and using my RMB-1075 for the surrounds and center speakers.

Might want to go in and adjust the blue and tone it down a little bit to create a more "white" white. I'm betting your grayscale is even tinted a slight bit blue.

Course like I said, could have been the camera.

But I am purchasing a RB 1090 in the next month or so to add to it. (anyone selling a all black unit feel free to contact me). I am unsure of adding a 1098, but for now the Rotels will carry the amp dutues. Speakers are Swans but upgrading those also to the new 6.2's and adding an F1 piece.
