I will be shopping for Rotel gear (rsp-1068/rmb-1075) in the next couple of weeks in northern New Jersey. Does anyone have any personal experience with a dealer in this area? We all know that all hifi shops are not created equal (even Rotel dealers). I know what I want and I will have no problems installing/using the equipment. So I don't really need to be educated and I don't need a demo. I am simply looking for a fair price and good customer service. I would greatly appreciate any feedback. Thanks, resperc

Recommened dealer
Resperc,
I have purchased all of my Rotel gear from AudioNexus in Summit NJ, the guy their is really cool, he is blind, but knows his gear, the shop is ontop of the Dunkin Donuts, he carries everything Rotel, and alot of other great gear, I highly recommend this shop.

I bought my Rotel gear in Northern NJ as well but not from that dealer. I had a simply horrible, no wait, horrendous experience in terms of both pre and post sale customer service and follow-up :M `. But they did give me a 20% discount on all Rotel stuff I bought there
. In the end, though, the savings wasn't worth it and I will never ever ever buy anything from them again
. I told Rotel N.A. a few times but they didn't seem to care. If you want to know their name, you can instant message me.

First post here and it is actually something useful. I purchased my RT 1080 and RSP 1068 from Audio Connection in Verona, NJ. I am from NY and have a local dealer, but chose to travel to NJ for the great service, price, and 30 day in home no questions asked return policy. Give Carlos a call at (973) 239-1799. If he is not available, talk to the owner John.
I picked up my RSP 1068 today and the RT 1080, but unfortunately my ATI 1806 AMP won't be in until Tuesday or Wednesday... Can't wait.

xshen, I contacted Adz by clicking on his name in the left hand corner of his post. Then a page comes up with a link that says something like "send this member a message" or something like that. Hopefully this helps. If you are unable to contact him shoot me an email (using the same method) and I will give you the name. I would post it here, but I don't want to offend Adz. For whatever reason he did not want to post it himself and I will respect his wishes. Good luck, resperc- Bottom

Hi Guys,
I was killing some time today at my B&W dealer this morning and heard some interesting stuff. This dealer was saying that they were dropping Bryston and picking up Lexicon because the Bryston gear was just too harsh with B&W speakers. Proceed is now out of business. The dealer...-

by rmasseySSIA.... I have stopped into my local Rotel dealer a few times recently to see/hear the 1068 and/or 1067. They tell me they only have the new 1098 and will not get any 1068s in until they sell all the remaining 1066s. Then they tell me I can special order one, but I politely mention that I would actually...-

by slowreyOkay I hate the fact that I have to buy Rotel from a Rotel dealer in my area. Here's the prime example of why.
