Anyone else having this issue? I tried LOTR (ROTK), Toy Story 2 and Star Wars II. It only displays DolbyDigital.

Since I have both LOTR and Starwars I will try. Bu I have watched Return of the king last week, and I tink it showed DD-EX. At least on my 3801 it worked for sure. So it is flagged.Marantz AV8802, Marantz UD8002, Rotel RB-991 and RB985mkii, Rotel RD960

I have thied LOTR, and it does display DD-EX (RSP1068 V1.1.7)
However both Starwars 1 and 2 have DD-Ex on the disc, but it does not light up. But it did not do so on my Denon 3801 as well.

I owned this unit for about 5 days. I sent it back because it didn't have the warm sound that the 3300 has. So, despite the possible heat problem, I kept the 3300. (Had to send the first one back. Talk about frying eggs!!!)

Well I saw the movie at the midnight session. We all had to endure 15min of ads and trailers before the main event. Ok I will start with the negatives first and get them out of the way. The opening to the movie was, I thought a make or break for this film. Again we are treated to lush special effects... -
Well I have just finished watching Starwars ROTS on dvd. I wont bother going into the story as I'm sure most of you know whats its about. After being floored by the quality of Batman Begins on dvd, I had very high hopes that this dvd would better it but alas it doesn't in one department...SQ *Gasp ...
