I have read about bass managment issues with the 1066. I have the M&K 750thxselect system. On the back of my sub I have a switch for thx that I am only suppose to have switched on if I have a thx processor, since I do not they recommend a bass managment processor. M&K makes one for $299 http://www.mksound.com/filters-bass_mgmt.html
I understand that outlaw also makes one.
Do I need one? Is this bass managment problem only for dvd/sacd audio? The manual for the M&K's say it will impove the sound for all types of formats.
