Bass managment processor for M&K 750thx & 1066

    Bass managment processor for M&K 750thx & 1066

    I have read about bass managment issues with the 1066. I have the M&K 750thxselect system. On the back of my sub I have a switch for thx that I am only suppose to have switched on if I have a thx processor, since I do not they recommend a bass managment processor.     I understand that outlaw also makes one.
    Do I need one? Is this bass managment problem only for dvd/sacd audio? The manual for the M&K's say it will impove the sound for all types of formats.
    Thanks for your help, any advice on setting this up is appreciated.

      Just pull the trigger on a 1066 to replace my HK 510 as processor match with a Rotel 1075, the difference was quite pleasing. On 2ch. audio the sound is clearer throughout and there seem to be more separation between instruments. I think I'm getting use to the sound now, and it is not as impressive...
