If buying used would there be any major differences between the V.1 or V.2 RSX-1055? Any major changes that make one a better investment over the other? Thanx

I assume when you mean V1 and V2 you mean 1055 vs 1056 ?
If that's the case....I would go for the 1056...
It has the new processor....and it is sonically sweet..er....
It upconverts S video to component....
It has more video in and outs than the 1056...
The menu has some sweeter stuff to it compared to the 1055....(this is from owners that have the 1055 and saw the menu on the 1056)
So all and all....1056 is the one....

Actually Bam there were earlier versions of the 1055 released with software versions 1.xxx and all the later versions were 2.xxx. I think the only major difference was that on some of the early 1.xxx versions they had the old video card that couldn't pass through full HD resolutions. If you're looking at one of the 1.xxx versions get the serial number and email it to Rotel. They'll be able to tell you if it has the old video card or any other differences. What price range are they falling in to?

Yeah, the early versions did not pass HD. If you have one of those I think that you can get them upgraded by Rotel for a small fee.Comment
