I have an older RSX1055 with original version of firmware. Recently hooked up two CB speakers and utilized the redirect feature in the on display menu. Initially the RSX1055 would reset the redirect back to front speakers. :cry: I called Rotel and was told to update the firmware. :roll: Then I called my dealer to play it safe and have him do the update. No can do he said! :x Next I went to Rotels website and guess what? Under tech updates I found the correct info!!! 
It says on older versions of the RSX1055, you may have to do a manufacturers default when resetting the redirect for CB speakers. IT WORKED!! 
I am currently enjoying 7.1 surround 8O . Its a nice addition to 5.1 for sure. Didn't have to update. Rotel comes through again!! Darn their GOOD!
