    Picked up new 1068/1075 this weekend...

    ...and I must say, they are sweet. The 1075 really makes my Grand Pianos sing. I demo'd the 1056 vs. the 1068/75 at the dealer and found that the difference was somewhat subtle with some types of music but much more dramatic with other types (especially recorded "live" music).

    Very happy with the pair. They are a significant upgrade from my previous receiver and the difference is striking.

    Does anyone know what the power rating of the 1075 is into 2 channels?

    Big thumbs up on these to anyone considering a purchase.

      When I bought my 1066/1075 combo, I asked my Dealer that exact question! He said that the power does not change in stereo mode unlike the likes of NAD as en eg. unfortunately... :cry:

          I'm not sure if there's ever been a published spec of the 1075's 2 channel performance but I'd guess it would be a little higher then if all 5 channels were driven as they're sharing the same power supply

                  Has anyone compared the big Rotel 1067 receiver to the 1068 preamp - paired with a 1075 power amp?

                  I'm trying to decide between:

                  RSX1067- $2100 - 7ch amp, tuner
                  RSP1068/1075 - $2500 - 5ch amp, no tuner
