    Price for RSP-1066 / RMB-1075

What is a good price to pay for the above mentioned combo?? This is my first step into seperates and do not want to get taken. Anyone have a reputable dealer they could recommend, or quote me a price?? I am looking to purchase over the next few weeks.

    Thanks,

    Jason

you should expect to pay 10-15% off list price unless you buy in canada, where your dollar will stretch a bit more.

From my shopping experiences you can expect to pay anywhere from 0%-15% off MSRP. Shop around and visit as many dealers as you can. I wouldn't let price be the only deciding factor. Also check things like service, trade in options, support, etc. When I was buying I visited quite a few different dealers in different cities and actually spent a day doing a lot of driving. I ultimately decided on the dealer that was closest to my house (Toledo - 35 miles) and they ended up giving me the best price too.

I bought my RMB 1075 about a month ago and got 10% off. My wife is ordering an RSX 1055 for us as I type this and getting 10% off it as well.

I too have a 1066. Bought it here in Cincinnati. About 10 off.

Went shopping and found the dealer in Toledo as Mark did only they are 190 miles away. The Toldeo boys KILLED the Cincinnati
dealer on price so I order a 1095. Had to be up there 1 week later
            and it was picked up.

I did not say 10% or 15% but.......................

The boys at the dealer in Toledo ROCK!

            Tell them I said hello.

1066 / 1075 ran me $1,850 + tax. It was like pulling teeth, but worth every penny.

Question about adding a second amp to my RMB1075
                by nash
I've currently got an RMB1075 and an RSP1066 with Definitive Technology speakers. I've ordered some new towers for the main L/R (Def Tech 7001SC's) which should be a considerable upgrade from my current towers (Def Tech ProTower 400's). I am going to move my ProTower 400's to the rear.

I have an option of buying an RSP1066 or an RSP1068, the different in price is about $400. Can someone give me an opinion on whether it is worth the extra of $400 to get the RSP1068. I am currently using a Denon 3803 as a pre/processor and the RMB1075. Will this upgrade to the Rotel RSP1066...
