    1055 vs 1065 differences ??

    I currently have a Revox amp and Klipsh Chorus II speakers. I am looking for a Home Theater replacement of the Revox.
    I am considering either the RSX-1055 or the 1065. Is there someone who had listened to both and can share his experience ?
    Do they sound really different, and what are the differences in HIFI mode.

      I am seriously considering the purchase of a Rotel 1065 receiver, and have been reviewing the posts on this forum. I note that there is a lot of info on the 1066+Amp, and 1055, but relatively little on the 1065. I will be using it with B&W N804, N805, and HTM2.

      So, here's the deal.

      Demo'd the 1065, NAD T672 and Pioneer Elites. Rotel won. Or else I wouldn't be here, right?

      But then the dealer didn't have it in stock (holding out for the silver, but let's not get sidetracked on that because I'm even rethinking the color choice)....

      What are make, model, and spec's of the D/A and A/D converters and the DSP chipset used in Rotel 1065 and 1055 receiver's. I had read that the DAC's are from AKM and are 96kHz/24-bit. Is this correct?

      Hi Guys,
      I have posted in the past about Rotel but ended up with a Primare ht amp which I did like but was frustrating to use and frustratingly unreliable so it's been sold and I'm back to Rotel again.
      My plan is to have a 2 ch and surround using the same speakers but with a ht amp...
