HELP! RSP 1068 right front channel w/6dB less output than Left or Center

Subject line says it all. Discovered while adjusting levels w/Test Tone.

I've swapped cables around - what ever is plugged into that output has less.

The only thing I haven't tried is rebooting the unit - I don't know how!:M

I blew a tweeter using the test tone on my 1066 once.
Are you sure your speakers are OK?

I'm certain its NOT speaker. When I connect the RSP right chnl output to the left Chnl amp input, the LEFT chnl has reduced output

Sorry GP, but I have no solutions to offer.

Bumping in hopes someone else will.

Select the FACTORY DEFAULT option from the DEFAULT Menu of the On Screen Display.

See page 40 of the Owners Manual.

I can't help but thinking that your speaker placement is the culprit. Where is your right speaker located and what is near it. Drapes or any sound absorbent material (Sofa....loveseat??) can dramatically reduce the output from a speaker. No matter how much you swap wires around to verify the output, a speaker who's volume output is being effected by it's surroundings will ALWAYS put out less volume in that location than others located in a more 'live' location.

            Just a thought.......

It's NOT placement. Nothing in the room has changed in 2 years.

Haven't gotten to reboot/reset yet. Will post when I get to it.

              Merry Christmas to all

THANKS MJB!! Re-setting it to "default" worked!

Hated having to re-do input configs & speaker levels etc, but it's a relief that fixed it.

Now what to about that non-working volume knob...

                Merry Christmas!
