    Rotel ra 03 as preamp for rb 1092

    Hey there, first post here, just wondering if my ra 03 amp would be a good preamp partnered with the rb 1092?? oh and i'll be using them with Tannoy monitor gold 15 inches in custom built cabinets.

      I see no reason why you could not run a set of RCA's from the PRE-Outs on the RA-03 to the RB-1092.

      From the reviews is seems one of the few shortcomings of the RA-03 is lower power output.
      The RA-1092 should cure that in an overkill style.

      Still, the digital amps from Rotel (& just about everyone else's excluding Hypex) are not always the best match for two-channel music.

      But many do not mind them, so it is often a matter of equipment matching & taste.
