RSX-1055 Delay Management

Hello Rotel-ers,

I have a RSX-1055 receiver and an Oppo 980H Dvd player. Which unit should I use for delay management? Does one have a better processor than the other? BTW, I am utilizing the Oppo's multi-channel (5.1) analog out into the receiver's multi-in's.

The multi-inputs on the 1055 just run through the volume control and a little bass management circuit before heading back out. So you will need to fully setup the Oppo (speaker size,distance, delay, etc) for the surround sound.
