    Rotel RMB1585

    Hi guys

I see Rotel released a new class AB RM 1585 a few months ago. Is it the rmb1095 that has been re-boxed into the 15 series box? I think there's an RB1590 which is more like the RB1090
Re-boxed. Does anyone have an intimate knowledge of this power amps?

Someone must know something about these new class AB Rotel power amps. Is there an improvement to their 10xx equivalents

Here's a link from Rotel's North American webpage on the RMB1585. The link includes an article published in February 2014.

The pinnacle of performance in Rotel's superb multichannel power amplifier range, the RMB-1585 features 5 x 200 Watts to drive even the largest home theater speaker systems.

The layout looks the same as the 1095. Looks like they added fans, either from the 15 series not having as much external heatsinks at the 10 series, or to allow it to be stacked like the other 15 series.

And removed the all so needed Caster Wheels. I thought that was a great feature of the RMB1095. I miss mine from time to time.

              Have them on my RB-1090......

......Why don't all manufactures do this with weighty chassis?
              ......it makes so much sense.

........a shame that Rotel stopped using them.
