Hello. I plan on buying a turntable. It would end up taking my cdp spot. With my current audio rack the only option is to put my CD player on top of my pre amp. Is this a bad idea?

The pre amp has no heat vents on it if that helps. And are the pods for in between the pre amp and cdp? Or for the TT? Ill be putting the TT on the solid tech feet of silence isolation feet I currently have the cdp on.Bowers & Wilkins 683 Speakers

I would think you'll be ok. I have a Rotel RCD-951 stacked on top of an RC-972 preamp and it neither seem to generate any heat.- Bottom
