    Volume knob receiver rx-1603

Just wondered if others know an easy solution for a 'loose' vol. knob? I see these knobs - balance, vol. etc - all fit to their respective spindle by allen-key screws...but I think this particular screw's tight. Presume wear is to blame in this case. Any thoughts? Ta.

If there's an allen key screw, loosen it and pull the knob off. Inspect it for wear, and improper installation, then reinstall it and tighten the screw.

If there's no screw, the knob just pulls off. Pull it off and see if the shaft is sturdy or loose. The nut securing the shaft to the chassis could be loose.

        Volume Knob fault on 1067
        by Robo1067
        Hi all,
I think my 1067 has developed a strange fault and wonder if any of you have heard of it and know of a simple fix prior to me returning it to the Service Agents.
What happens is when-ever I attempt to adjust the volume via the front panel knob, for vol up, it goes up only one level...

        1068 - A loose volume knob
        by alkalay
        Hey rotelian mates,

Has any of you experienced a loose volume knob on a 1066, 1068, 1098 or any other Rotel's pre, integrated or receiver?

My 1068 exhibits this looseness when turning the knob to one direction and then to the opposite one. First I thought it was normal...

        CAP-100 volume control issue
        by Telstar
I'm having an issue with the volume control.
The volume knob got loose last week and it can be pulled out. The volume control still worked using the remote or the knob itself.

Yesterday, we moved the amplifier on another shelf and since then the volume is fixed to a certain dB,...

        RSP-1098 -"Loose" function wheel
        by Twincam
        Hi All

I just got my 1098 and so far I am happy with it. One small thing concerning the build quality though:
The big Function knob/wheel to the left of the screen feels a bit "loose". I am not thinking of that it's very easy to turn/rotate, which is normal I think. It's...

Anyone else get Kill Bill Vol 2?
        by Shane Martin
Being that I saw and bought Vol 1, I bought Vol 2 blind as I didn't have time to see it. Anyone else pick this up?

I figured it was a no brainer since I loved Vol 1 and couldn't make the trek to the theater for Vol 2.
