    Is possible to connect 4 speakers to the RB 1552?

    Hallo,
    my first post here, looks an amazing forum,
    we are changing amplifier and loudspeakers,
    we are pondering the ampli ROTEL RB 1552,
    I could not understand if they are able to drive
    4 loudspeakers with impedance of 4ohm
    the loudspeakers are the Nubert NuBox511

    You could wire them in series, to present an 8ohm load to the amp, but you can't run both in parallel.

      in this case, wiring them in series, is the quality of the sound affected?

        Problem with my RB 1552!

        I hope somebody can help me with this problem. From time to time I get an electronic or mechanic hum from within my RB 1552(It may come from the trafo) it is not comming through to the speakers, it's on for a second or to and then gone fore a few more seconds, and then recycles with the same interval....

        Hi all I have a RB-1552 MkII and noticed with the 12v trigger on when not in standby the standby light stays on. Is that normal ? I have contacted Rotel Australia and I kid you not the guy there had no idea. He was meant to give me a call back once he found out ( that was 2 weeks ago ) but nothing....
