    RKF 100 info needed

Hi all. About to pull the plug on a used RKF 100 cooling fan kit. I can't seem to find any dimensions on this unit. I even looked at Rotel site and spec page is blank and their manual doesn't seem to have it strange as that is. I plan to use this in my stereo rack and sit it on top of my RSP 1068 with the fans sucking up air and blowing it out in the back. Can the faceplate be removed to accomodate sitting in a stereo stand? It looks as though this is designed to be installed in a custom audio rack(19 inches) and my stereo stand is 18 inches from the inside measurements. Friday is the proposed day to pick it up off the seller. If someone could get back to me asap with the dimensions I would appreciate it a lot. I dont want to buy something if I can't use it properly. Suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Hi everybody. Thanks and I took another look at the manual and I did see that the faceplate is removable so that is good news. I believe it should fit in my stereo stand no problem although I may change to placing it on top of my RMB 1095 instead as added protection to keep it cool as it can get pretty warm not that this it gets so hot that the amp will shut down(never happened yet, touch wood) but as a preventative measure. Thanks all for looking and I do believe I resolved my own issue. Thanks though as always.

      HT Preamp vs stereo preamp
      by RoMan
      Hi all,

Would there be any benefit to using a separate stereo preamplifier hooked up to my home theater pre/pro in bypass mode so that I can watch movies in 5.1 and listen to 2 channel using the stereo preamp? I'm using the RSP 1572 HT pre/pro and wondering if getting the Rotel RC 1570...

      Stereo Subs... HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I just stumbled onto two Totem Thunders to go with my 8 Model 1 Signatures and want to setup stereo subs. I have been messing around with the 9 and 10 Pro Channels but have had not luck getting bass out of them? I set up a Lowpass filter on both channels at 60Hz and I set the channel 9 to +100 Left...

Hi, I am purchasing my first stereo and did some auditioning (2 hours in one store!) over the weekend. Did not know what to expect and now all I want to do is take some equipment home and crank it up. I tried to do as much research as possible before going out to listen but now have more questions than...

5.1 and 7.1 AVR's are overkill for downsizing. Need Stereo Receiver w/HDMI
      by CRA
We are retired (62) and downsizing. That means we don't need a big 7.1 or 5.1 HT System. Currently we have a very nice 5.2 system (Marantz AV7005 processor, Emotiva 3 channel 200w and 2 channel 300 watt amps, two Velodyne Optimum 12" subwoofers, four Paradigm Studio 100's, a Paradigm CC-590 center...
