My trusty RMB-1075 vs the new shiny RMB-1565

Well I finally have a dealer who would let me test out a class D amp. I have not done enough testing to form an opinion but the 1565 sounds pretty damn good. I did just put my 1069 back in so I am sure I am hearing that improvement too.

So I really need to decide. Class D, smaller, cooler or the tried and true 1075 Class A/B. Heavy, big monster with great sound.

What do you guys think? It does look a bit strange not having the matching series.

As with everything in audio, it's personal and you have to let your own ears decide (and....your pocketbook!!!).

Question about adding a second amp to my RMB1075
      by nash
I've currently got an RMB1075 and an RSP1066 with Definitive Technology speakers. I've ordered some new towers for the main L/R (Def Tech 7001SC's) which should be a considerable upgrade from my current towers (Def Tech ProTower 400's). I am going to move my ProTower 400's to the rear.
