    dust

    hi folks

i have an RB-1080 that's been living in a very dusty home

to get rid of the dust inside, is it as simple as opening it up and using a vacuum to suck it all up?

what should i look out for when i open it?

    cheers!

Yes, I'd use a vacuum and soft brush to CAREFULLY remove all the dust. Don't be heavy handed, and there shouldn't be any surprises :??

I find that vacuuming usually doesn't get all the dust out. You can then take it outside and blow out any remaining dust with some compressed air.

Take care here as well. A can of compressed air will do no harm, but you will have the capability of applying too much air pressure if using an air compressor.
