    Audio problem with 1068 processor

    I have a Direct TV HR20-100S feeding a 1068 processor via digital coax cable. I have audio on all non HD channels, but when I tune to a HD channel I get no audio, (live and recorded shows) only video. I have switched out the coax cable, and tried an optical cable with no success. Have had this unit for 4-5 years.
    Any info will be most appreciated.

      Any chance there is a setting routes HD audio to an HDMI input? I'm just guessing.

          Did this just start happening or has it only been since you got the DSS unit?

              Have you reset the HR20? Unplug it and wait 20 seconds and plug it back in or reset with the red reset button ussually found where the access card goes.

                  In other words, lets say I use only a digital coax cable from DVD player to 1068. If I want to listen to a CD (using the DVD player) in another room using the zone 2 feature can it handle this? I know some pre/pro's and recievers can only output analog audio connections to a second zone but cant remember...
