You should listen to it both ways and decide which you like better. I would start with the fronts at small and the crossover at 80Hz personally. Just spend a little time listening and you'll find the right combo for you.

For Home Theater setting the system settings to "small" should make the system sound more dynamic. Making the speakers produce the sounds they are made to produce without pushing them beyond their limit. Also, 80hz has always been a safe place to start for sub settings in the Rotel sub setup. ON the the Klispsch Sub phisically turn the crossover all the way up (120Hz) if it does not have a crossover bypass.

            BBV2: a small format sub/sat system
            by augerpro
FINALLY got my BoseBuster sequel done and written up!! I've shortened the name to BBV2 so I don't get any hassle from Bose. Next I'll be finishing the Scan Disco TM and MTM, the other flavors after. My Soma Sonus site is now hosting my projects. Here is copy of that page:

B&W HTM3S and HTM4S: Large or Small settings?
            by K.K.
This is from the B&W thread regarding choosing the HTM3S and HTM4S for HT purpose. I am starting this over here in case there are other HT experts who uses either of these centre speakers who can advise and in case the Moderator thinks I have broken the rules in the B&W thread.

Need some help with crossover settings on my 1068
            by Kyle
Just got my 1068, and have a few questions about crossover settings.

I am using the following speakers:

Front: B&W DM603s3 (set to large)
Center: B&W LCR60s3 (set to small)
Rears: B&W DM601s3 (set to small)

            NO SUB (small apartment)....

            Crossover settings
            by newguy987
This could be a noobie question, however I'm going to ask it anyways. There seems to be a little bit of confusion when it comes to Ideal crossover settings. I Understand that when you select "large" for speaker size, that the speaker receives the full signal(20htz-20khz), and that when you...

The ultimate small speaker - final design critique/improvement
            by bcodemz
Hi everyone. I'd like to get some feedback for a design that has been in the making for a year or so now. The goal is to design the very finest small speaker with the challenge to pack as much performance into a speaker that physically looks small, which I determined to be a wide but short speaker like...
