    RCD 1070 ejecting Cds

    Hello Guys

I am new to Rotel product. Recently I bought a Rotel rcd 1070 as well as rb 1070 and rc 1070. I really like the way it looks and sounds. I am experiencing a problem.

Sometimes when I put the CD in it ejects it right away, it might happen 3 or 4 times before it plays. It doesn't happen every time I put the Cd in. It starts to bother me a bit.

Is this a hint something bad is going to happen?
Anyone knows how to handle it?

    great thanks,

    Yup, bad news.

My RCD 1070 did that for about 1yr. It started just occasionally, then I would have to load it 1 to 2 times. Towards the end it took 4 to 5 trys, untill it no longer accepted a disc. The repair bill was (if I remember correctly) close to $300.00. Not cheap, but I love the the player and it seemed worth it to me.

      Thanks Jon

Do you remember what the problem was? I want to walk in the repair center knowing what might be the problem.

      Thanks again

        Hey Guys

If anyone cares I have an update.

I contacted Rotel and was told it is a loading belt.
So I bought it for 13 bucks and replaced it.
        Works great so far !

        thanks for help

Has anyone else experienced this w/ the RCD 1070/1072? :

Every now and then, I'll stick a disc into my 1070 and immediately hit play and when I do that, the CD will start at track 10, instead of 1. This does not happen all the time and it never happens if I give the machine time to read...

            Replace RCD 955 ax
            by 2manydjs
            Hello,

My setup consists of a pair of B&W 705 powered by the Rotel 980BX pre and end amplifiers with the Rotel RCD 955 ax as main input.
I feel my 705's can/should sound better by improving my setup and I want to start by replacing the RCD 955.

            Gents,

I originally bought the RDV-1060 aiming to use it for both CD's and DVD's. Unfortunately the unit I received had some issues so I almost immediately had to give it back to the shop for repair.

After my RDV-1060 came back from repair (gone for a month after handling...
