    Rotel RCD-1070 CD player

    I have a Rotel RCD-1070 CD player that I like very much. I am the 2nd owner of this CD player, the first owner had done some little upgrades to it. Just diodes and new belt etc. And I also got a laser replacement with it too. I think I had a good deal at £200 buying this player.

    Did this use to be Rotel's best CD player back in 2002-2006? Also have any of you people have had this CD player and compared it to other players?

      I have the option of buying a new RCD1070 for about 30% less than a RCD1072. Is there much of a difference between them ? Any problems with the earlier model i should be aware of ? The saleman says ther is little if any audible difference between the two models. Any thoughts would be appreciated....
