RSX 1067 Zone 2 - No left channel

    Greetings,
Well I finally got around to installing the 2nd zone, using the redirection of my mains.
I am using a power amp and pre-outs for the movie room.
So after running cables, and doing a 'reset to default' to enable the zone redirect feature etc, once set up there is no left channel. I have swapped left and right speakers over and get sound from both sets via the right channel.

I have recently had the volume control knob 'cleaned' via a service agent.
Is it possible that they may have somehow not reconnected a plug or something when they re-assembled the unit?
Will removing the cover void my warranty?
Are there fuses within that I could check, prior to returning it to the agent?

    Any suggestions most gratefully received.

No left channel from all sources? Try digital and analog. Any sound when using the internal test-tones? Analog sources set to 2ch bypass?

If no to all of the above, sound like a problem with the actual pre-amp output. If yes to some, the jack is fine and it's a problem with another board. I can't imaging any cable being unplugged that would only take out the left channel.

Opening the cover will ot void the warranty. The main digital board should be right on top. Take a look and see if anythign feels loose. You might also revert the fronts back to the internal amps and do a factory reset to see if you have a left channel.

      Thanks Kevin.

I have now taken it in to the service agent as there is only a little over a months warranty left. Might as well make use of it.

      Thanks for you welcome suggestions.
