    well,

the big solution is a Classè CDT300.

Is sure more expensive vs. the Rotel Rcd1072 but so in one piece I have a dvd, cd very great :T

    CDP300 or CDT300?

CDT300 sure! with the SSP800 is more as enough :T :T

      Rotel 1072

      style,

I had a similar issue when I built mt HT room. I had a Rotel 1072 from before. Then I got a McIntosh pre-amp. I use my very nice Denon Blu-Ray player to send CD content (via digital coax) to the Mac. I compared this setup with doing an analog output from the Rotel. I ended up liking the Mac to do the processing, so I stop using the Rotel. The Denon-Mac combo sounded better to me.

I think your best solution is to use the Denon to send CD content over via digital to the Classe processor.

If you do want to get a separate CD player, I still like the Rotel 1072 as a very good performing CD player. Especially for the money they cost.

You did mention XLR in a CD. That is a nice feature. The Cambridge 840 does have it. It also costs about twice what the Rotel does ($1300-$1500).

      Hope this helps.

I got the 840c and it definitely will not disappoint AT ALL. I could list all the pluses and what not, but it's best to hear it for yourself. Which there's places that give 30 days to return, might want to check one of them out since all you loose is shipping (back to them).

I think the 840c is one of the best players I've heard at or near it's price point. I've listened to a couple 4K players and it easily matched. Maybe not perfectly identical in sound quality, but so close I couldn't justify the price difference. Plus with paying (we pay $1200) roughly for the player and if you would add the modifications that referenceaudiomods.com does, it'll make it come very very close to $10k CDPs.

I have no doubts that in your list of players you are looking for that it is the best player and will give you 100% satisfaction.

Best Rotel Player for 2 Channel?
              by Spookyslow
I'm in search of player for my 2 channel setup. I'm currently running an RC 1070 pre (next on the upgrade list) w/ an RM 1080 amp w/ 805's.

Basically, I've given up on finding a quality digital music source and have conceded that I've got to return to discs. I'm also very content...

Rotel CD players' Tracking Arm problems after medium term of use
              by al-k
About 3 years ago I researched reliability and malfunction problems in medium price CD players , and found a report of a Rotel player where the owner had complained of deterioration of sound quality over a not particually long term of use (I've forgotten how long , but it wasn't many years) .

Best Quality Audio in a Rotel DVD Player?

I've put together a little bookshelf system and the only blemish is the lack of a Rotel player in the stack....

Rotel 1055 and Emotiva ERC-1 shootout.
              by rantzmar
I have a Rotel 1055 CDP that was made in 2002. Yesterday I had a chance to do a shootout with it and the new ERC-1 by Emotiva.

We had The Rotel 1090 preamp (Which btw, my buddy who has Conrad-Johnson mono tube amps, the matching preamp, Dynaudio speakers, very expensive cables, Krell,...

              How Important is Rotel Synergy?
              by lastexit
              Hi folks,

Have you ever incorporated components of different brands into your Rotel system? If so, what did you change and how much did it affect the sound of your system? Do you feel it was for the better or for the worse?

What I've gathered from various forums indicate...
