Is there a way to safely bridge the 1048?

I am currently using only 6 of the 8 channels, and am hoping to bridge the remaining two channels to the speakers in the largest room of the house. I called my local dealer who told me to flip the bridge swithes on the back. Only one problem - there aren't any .

Thanks for any advise. I could really use more output for this one room especially.

You can't bridge any of the channels on the RMB-1048. The person you talked to may have been thinking about the RMB-1066 because you can bridge two channels together on that amp.

      Hello everybody,
I'd like to know your mind about the setting of my new videoprojector room, currently a work-in-progress.
      I already have the following:

      - receiver: Cambridge Audio 540
      - power amplifier: Rotel rb 965 (3/4/5/6 channels)
      - front speakers: RCF...

I currently use an RMB-976 to drive the zone two output from my 1068. I've just added a fourth pair of zone two speakers and so I was looking at the 1048. The step-down in wattage should be ok and I wouldn't mind the trigger and matching looks.

However, what I'd be missing is the external...

Ok guys... So I am looking a 1075 amplifier and I would like to hook up using a 3 channel (L, C, R) for now. Is there any way I can take the 2 spare channels on the amp and wire them in with the Left and Right channels? (This would hopefully double the power going to my mains)

I have 4 sets of speakers around the house (3 klipsch pairs, on infinity outdoor). What are the pros/cons to using the RMB-1048 versus a good speaker selector (impendance matching/protection) and good two channel amp (ie RB-1070)

      Thanks, as always.

      PS. Got my...

I've got 7 sets of speakers throughout my house (including 1 set outdoor). They are a combination of 4, 6 and 8-ohm. They are powered by an old Denon DRA-750 180 watt receiver, running through a Niles 6-speaker selector (I've got 2 sets of speakers going through one of the 6 slots on the selector.)...
