Question regarding the Rotel 1068 inputs

I currently have the Rotel 1068 Pre/Processor and a Parasound HCA-2205at 5 Channel amp in my HT set up and what I would like to do is add a TT to the system.

Would like to know if I was to get a phono pre, can I plug that into either the Tuner or Cd input ?

If so, how is the sound quality in 2 channel mode ?

    Good idea or not ?

    Regards,

You can connect a phono preamp to any of the inputs on the RSP-1068. The sound quality is very good in the two channel bybass mode. If you want a turntable, the yes it's a good idea.
