    CD Player Optical or Analogue Connection ->1068

    Bit new to AV amps. Currently connecting my CD player to 1068 with phono cables. If I switch to an optical cable will I get a better sound (ditto for DVD player).

      Depends on the quality of DAC's in the CD player Try both and see what sounds better

      For DVD's you're best off using the digital connection for DTS/Dolby Digital and your 1068's likely much more advanced bass and delay management.
