Ladies and Gentleman, I'm going to make the jump and purchase a ps3. I will be using component for video and optical for the A/V, all running through the 1067. What type of problems should I look for? Will I be able to upscale sd dvd's to 1080I? Will it look better than my Pioneer elite dv45a ? lastly, does the ps3 play sacd's and Dvd audio?

You will not be able to upscale DVDs, you have to use HDMI for that.
The picture with blu-ray discs I found very poor with the component connection, HDMI was 10x better. Best to hook your PS3 directly to your display through HDMI then output the bitstream through the digital optical connection to your 1067.Digital Audio makes me Happy.

Both the optical output and the HDMI are active at the same time.

My television is a Sony KDF-50E2000 and I'm curious if I'll have any HDMI issues with a Marantz SR4002 connected to the TV and a PS3, Xbox 360 Elite, and Oppo 980 connected to the Marantz. I don't know if it's a big deal that my TV is not v1.3 or anything of that nature. Let me know if you need any... -
I'm just curious how much 'better' the picture quality gets when using DVD players with scaling built in to them.
I just purchased the Denon 2900 and I'm wondering how its output via component @ 480p compares to say a Denon 3910 with scaling upto 1080i via HDMi or DVI.

I have mentioned this on another thread but it's lacking feedback, so i fiugred i'd start my own thread.
When i have my xbox360 hooked up, the hdmi feed drops out, then in and out. Signal loss then comes back for a sec, i shut everything off, did factory default, still doing it, any suggestions?...
